What can you expect on your desert safari in Abu Dhabi?
Your personal desert trip begins with a pick-up directly from your hotel, accommodation or company location in Abu Dhabi – you will receive the exact pick-up time after booking.
In a comfortable, air-conditioned 4×4 vehicle (e.g. Toyota Land Cruiser), we head out of the city towards the desert. On the way, we make a short stop so that the driver can prepare the vehicle for dune driving (e.g. adjust the tire pressure).
During this time, you have the opportunity to embark on your own adventure:
How about a quad bike or buggy ride through the sandy landscape?
Whether with a guide or on your own – this optional fun is a real classic among desert lovers in the Emirates. Alternatively, you can refresh yourself in the cafeteria, pick up a souvenir or use the sanitary facilities.
Then the exciting part begins:
Dune driving (approx. 30-40 minutes) – rapid, gentle or somewhere in between. Our tours are never in convoy, because we want to offer you a genuine, undisturbed nature experience – far away from mass tourism.
We stop in the middle of the dunes – perfect for souvenir photos, sandboarding (similar to snowboarding, only on sand!) and for a breathtaking sunset.
As the day turns into the golden hour, we make our way to the traditional camp. With a bit of luck, we may encounter a camel caravan on the way.
Once you arrive at the camp, you will be warmly welcomed with dates and Arabic tea – as hospitality demands here.

- A delicious BBQ buffet with starters, main courses, vegetarian options and dessert
- Soft drinks included (alcoholic drinks optional for an extra charge)
The evening is accompanied by atmospheric live shows: Tanoura dancing, belly dancing and a spectacular fire show provide a real desert flair.
After an eventful day, we will of course take you back to your accommodation – with lots of new memories in your luggage.
